BEACON operates a Relational Ministry, which has the dual goals of teaching life skills as they relate to Biblical principles and building relationships between clients and church volunteers. This is one of BEACON's newer ministries, and it continues to grow. Relational meets weekly at one of the partner churches and has an average attendance of 10-12. Both volunteers and refreshments are needed for this ministry. Relational currently meets in Belleville at Union United Methodist Church and in O'Fallon at Faith Lutheran Church, with a goal to begin a third group in Fairview Heights.
